Day 1

Bucharest → Constanța → Danube Delta

Morning departure from Bucharest heading east toward the Black Sea coast.
First stop in Constanța, the oldest continuously inhabited city in Romania.

Highlights include:

Ovid Square
Constanța Old Town
The famous Constanța Casino
The Black Sea promenade

After lunch continue north to Tulcea, the gateway to the Danube Delta.
Boat transfer to the delta village.
Overnight: Danube Delta

Day 2

Danube Delta Wildlife Safari

Full day exploring the spectacular Danube Delta, one of the largest wetlands in Europe.
Boat excursion through narrow canals and lakes where you may see:

pelicans
herons
wild horses
eagles
cormorants

Lunch in a traditional fisherman village.
Overnight: Danube Delta

Day 3

Danube Delta → Brașov

Morning boat transfer back to Tulcea.

Drive across Romania toward the Carpathian Mountains arriving in Brașov.
Evening walking tour in the medieval old town.

Day 4

Brașov → Sinaia → Bran → Brașov

Today we explore Romania’s most famous castles.

First stop: Peleș Castle, the former royal residence of King Carol I.

Continue to Bran Castle, known worldwide as Dracula’s Castle.

Return to Brașov in the evening.
Overnight: Brașov

Day 5

Brașov → Viscri → Sighișoara

Drive through traditional Saxon villages.

Stop at Viscri Fortified Church, located in one of Transylvania’s most authentic villages.

Continue to Sighișoara, one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe.

Vlad the Impaler birthplace

Overnight: Sighișoara

Day 6

Sighișoara → Turda Salt Mine → Cluj-Napoca

Drive north toward Turda Salt Mine.

Continue to Cluj-Napoca.
Walking tour of the historic center.

Overnight: Cluj-Napoca

Day 7

Cluj-Napoca → Corvin Castle → Alba Iulia → Sibiu

First stop: the spectacular Corvin Castle, one of Europe’s largest medieval castles.

Continue to Alba Carolina Citadel, the largest Vauban fortress in Romania.

Drive onward to Sibiu.
Overnight: Sibiu

Day 8

Sibiu → Transfăgărășan → Vidraru Dam → Curtea de Argeș

Drive the famous Transfăgărășan.

Stop at Bâlea Lake before descending the southern side of the mountains.

Continue to Vidraru Dam for panoramic views and photos.

End the day at Curtea de Argeș Monastery.
Overnight: Curtea de Argeș

Day 9

Curtea de Argeș → Târgoviște → Bucharest

Drive toward Târgoviște.

Visit the medieval Chindia Tower and the ruins of Vlad the Impaler’s royal court.

Continue to Bucharest.

Evening free time in the Old Town.
Overnight: Bucharest

Day 10

Departure

Transfer to airport or hotel drop-off in Bucharest.
End of the tour.
